I woke up one morning and almost immediately my thoughts were given over to much fear and anxiety concerning my present financial situation. I then prayed and asked the Lord to help me believe that he was truly sovereign over my finances. I also asked the Lord to deliver me from these tormenting and troubling counsels of unbelief, doubt, and fear. I was in a great battle in my mind, fighting against multitudes of lying counsels that were seeking to overthrow my faith in the Lord. Satan was also continuously enticing me with counsels that were tempted me to take control and become my own lord of this matter, to taking it completely out of God’s hands. But after I acknowledged the Lord’s sovereignty over my life and asked for him to help me, he heard my prayer and came and quieted my soul. Then faith was restored and peace returned to rule over my thoughts. Oh how wonderful it is to know that he who has power to calm the winds also has power to calm the storms in our mind.
II Corinthians 10:3-5 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh because the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds and casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (The Prince of Peace).
Matthew 7:24-25 Jesus said, “Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of mine and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man who built his house upon a rock: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not because it was founded upon a rock”.
Mark 4:37-40 “And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship so that it was now full of water. And Jesus was in the hinder part of the ship asleep on a pillow: and they awoke him saying, “Master, do you not care that we are perishing?” And Jesus arose and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, “Peace, be still”. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And then he said unto them, “Why are ye so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?”
James 1:6-7 “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed; for let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord”.
Psalm 34:4 “I sought the Lord and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears”.
Then the next morning, as soon as I awoke, the same battle began to rage again in the thoughts of my mind. But before I could get out bed to pray, and worship the Lord by asking for him to help me, I heard the voice from the Lord speaking to me that which is written Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, think on these things”. I then hesitated and considered the counsel in this word, but almost immediately the attack in my mind started up again. I then realized that none of the thoughts that attacking me in my mind had any agreement with those things spoken of in Philippians 4:8. I then just laid there trying to resist any thoughts from entering into my mind that were not true, or honest, or just, or lovely, or of a good report.
It was then that the Lord gave to me this vision:
“I saw a woman that at first seemed like she was standing on top of a large wagon; and she was leaning forward and cracking the whip over a team of 7 horses, trying to get them to go as fast as they possibly could. She held the reigns to all 7 horses in one hand and had the whip in the other; and she never stopped using her whip. When I focused my attention on this woman, I first noticed that she had a facial appearance that was as ugly, as cruel, and as cold as a lot of the witches that I have seen portrayed in cartoons and movies. She was also dressed completely in black, from head to toe. It was then that I also noticed that her attire was also exactly like the attire that you would expect to see on a harlot, right down to the fishnet stockings; the only difference being that she was not as colorful in clothing as prostitutes because she was dressed in all black.
As I said, I had at first assumed that this woman was driving a team of 7 horses, but that was because of the large cloud of dust that was being kicked up, I was only able to see seven heads. But when I had time to consider more closely what I was seeing in this vision, I suddenly realized that these were not horses at all, but rather they appeared to be like some type of dragons; and I then realized that this woman was not standing on top of a wagon, but she was standing on the single body of dragon that had seven long-necked heads. It was then that the vision ceased before my eyes.
I barely had time to rest from what I saw in this vision when suddenly the Lord gave to me another vision.
In this vision I saw before me a large yard that greatly resembled that which one might see at an old southern plantation. The yard was at least 4 or 5 acres that gradually sloped down to a quiet peaceful cove that was just off of a very large lake or the ocean. The yard was covered with a beautiful lawn and it was completely covered with these very large oak trees that wonderfully shaded the entire yard. I then saw this beautiful woman who seemed to be in her middle 20’s, and she was just sitting on the lawn leaning her back up against one of the large oak trees. She was dressed in a long, white cotton or linen dress and she also had on a large white floppy type of straw hat. She had the most peaceful and contented countenance that I have ever seen on anyone’s face. She was just sitting there with a very peaceable and contented smile as she watched over 3 children that were playing between her and the cove. She appeared to be a stark contrast of the woman who was riding atop the beast.
When the vision was over, the Spirit of the Lord then quickened unto me that the beast and the woman that I saw in the first vision was the same beast and woman that rides the beast that is spoken of in Revelation 17:1-5. Then the Lord reminded me the things that he had previously taught me about the two wisdoms; the wisdom of this world, which dwells in the carnal mind, and the wisdom of God, which dwells in the spiritual mind. This whorish wisdom is always desirous to direct the souls of men into misery and death, while the wisdom of God is brings forth peace and life.
James 3:13-18 “Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? Let him show out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and do not lie against the truth; for this wisdom descends not from above, but is earthly, sensual, and devilish. For where envying and strife are, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
Ecclesiates 3:18 “I said in my heart, concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them and that they might see that they themselves are beasts”.
Then the Spirit of the Lord brought into my remembrance a word that he had spoken to Debbie, one of the women who I had once fellowshipped with:
“I desire to give to you the treasures of life; but you must first exchange this hesitation and reserve, this lack of trust, this anxiety, and this fret for my peace. Consider what the gift is that I have given unto you. Do you no longer desire to be united to me in peace? Be assured that I know all about you. I have seen the beast within you.
I have seen the doubt. I have seen the rage. I have seen the scorn and the spite that you have for me. I have seen the bitterness and the evil that you think of me. I have seen the fear in your heart. I have seen the confusion of your own counsels. I have seen your lack of faith in me, as well as all of your unbelief. I have seen the lack of love that you have for me, as well as lack of loyalty. I have seen your lack of patience. I have seen your depression.
Only I, the Lord your God, can tame this beast. Only through my love for you will this beast be tamed. Be not afraid, for my love for you is unconditional, and I am not offended by the beast within. I am here to deliver you and set you free.
But you have not received my love, for you have set aside my word, the very word that reveals everything that I said that my word could do for you. You did not believe me when I said, “I will give you assured peace in this place. I am asking you again to believe. I am asking you to set aside the pride, the hurt feelings, the fear of rejection, and the fear of suffering. Let your heart be broken (as a wild horse is broken). Let your feelings suffer. Let your mind go. Only trust in me. I am the one who will carry you through your trials. I do not allow for you to go through these trials to harm you, but rather to save you from your own self, from the counsels of the beast that dwells within you.”
Then the Lord said to me that the seven heads of the dragons are seven lying spirits that Satan sends to in his attempts to turn our hearts away from the Lord: rebellion, fear, scorn, pride, doubts, unbelief, and confusion; and the desire to believe anyone of these counsels comes forth from the wisdom of this world.
I then asked, “Lord, why was this woman dressed in the attire of what appeared to be both a witch and a harlot?” And the Lord answered me and said, “Because she is the wisdom of man that both seeks to seduce and bewitch men with counsels that lead my people away from me”.
James 1:14 “Every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own desires and enticed. And when desire has conceived, it brings forth sin; and when sin is finished it brings forth death (the miserable thoughts of the carnal mind)”.
I Timothy 4:1 “Now the Spirit speaks expressly that in the latter days, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils”.
Then I asked, “Lord, where is this woman racing to get to as fast as she possibly can?”
The Lord answered and said, “Tomorrow; for tomorrow is that place that I have given instruction to my people not go; for did I not say, “Take no thought for tomorrow”. I am the God of today and the God of now. Today is the day that my peace will rule in your heart and now is the place of my presence. My peace rules in the now; my peace does not rule over the imaginations that yearn to take you into tomorrow. Tomorrow is a place of fear and dread, a place of anxiety and worry, a place of unfulfilled and failed expectations and dreams; and a place of uncertainty. Tomorrow is the place where Satan loves to torment and trouble with thoughts of “worst case scenarios”. I am with you now, at this very moment, and I yearn to give to you life to you now; the abundant life that you desire. How can I give you life today when you are seduced and bewitched to follow after those counsels which lead you into tomorrow? In my presence is the life that you desire, and my presence can only be found today, not in tomorrow.
Matthew 6:34 “Therefore take no thought for tomorrow: for tomorrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof”.
James 4:13-17 “Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit"; but you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. He that knows to do good, and does not do it, to him it is sin”.
Tomorrow is that place where the unbelievers, the fearful, the disobedient, the proud, the doubters, and those who have no hope that they can find any life in today are enticed to go to, Many come tomorrow because they are hoping that they will find a better day and a better life than that which they are experiencing today. The truth is that tomorrow is nothing but a lying illusion, a mirage of dreams, expectations, and plans that appear in the imaginations to keep one from going mad today. All who surrender to believe these illusions about tomorrow will only find that when tomorrow comes, they are still hopeless in today and hoping that tomorrow will be a better day. I do not rule in tomorrow” says the Lord. “I rule in today, in the now, and in the present.
Proverbs 27:1 “Do not boast about tomorrow because you do not know what a day may bring forth”.
Those who walk in faith and believe my word resist the imaginations that tempt them into going into tomorrow because they are finding life in today. I am faithful and true to all those who have asked for and received my wisdom to believe and hold to my words. I have been waiting patiently in the NOW; waiting for my people to come believing that I ready to fulfill my promise of life today. This whorish wisdom also waits for my people; always waiting at the very beginning of the day to take them into tomorrow. It is when my people are overcome in these temptations that the true nature of the beast is revealed; and that nature is the death that inhabits the carnal mind. Only the light of my life is able to reveal the truth about that nature that is hides in the secret places of the heart and in the dark places of the mind. It is only when the soul of a man believes and yields to the desires of this worldly wisdom that authority and power is given to her rule over the beast with all kinds of imaginations that bring forth either fear, or confusion, or worry, or depression, or scorn, or unbelief, or stress, or failure, or despair, or anxiety, or evil suspicions, or uncertainty, and many other such like thoughts that only death in those who receive and believe her counsels. She races to bring the souls of men into that place of tomorrow; that place where she rules over the thoughts of those she hates with misery and torment. Tomorrow is that place where the wisdom of this world sits as a queen over the kings of your heart, ruling over them with unrest, strife, and trouble.
James 314-16 “If you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil work are there”.
Jeremiah 4:22 “For my people are foolish because they do not know me; they are senseless children and they have no understanding. They are wise to do evil, but to do good, they have no knowledge”.
I then said, “Lord, I suppose that this woman who was so contented in this other vision represents the wisdom of God?”
Proverbs 8:12 “I, wisdom, (wisdom is now speaking) dwell with prudence and I find out the knowledge of witty inventions…34 Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the post of my doors. For whoso finds me, finds life; and obtains favor of the Lord; but he that sins against me wrongs his own soul. All they that hate me love death (the thoughts of the carnal mind)”.
James 3:17-18 “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace”.
I Corinthians 1:30 “But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God…”
Then Lord then answered and said, “Today, I yearn to give to you life; I greatly desire to favor you with abundant life, a life that is far above anything that can come into your imaginations; but I am only able to show such favor to those who believe on my words; to those who seek for me today, putting no hope in tomorrow. Today I desire to freely and liberally give to you my wisdom. For just as this woman you saw in this vision, my wisdom is first peaceable, never racing to take you away to another time but gives to you life now. For my wisdom keeps you in my presence, and my presence brings today into the NOW. My wisdom never focuses on the cares and the troubles of this present evil world, but her focus is always on me. My wisdom is the principle thing; that is, she always has me first in her heart and she delights in me. She is a loving and caring spirit; gentle, humble, kind, and she always brings with her the good fruits of life: joy, quietness, faith, love, contentment, and patience. Those who seek her early shall not see any great travail in today. My wisdom watches over you and she is well able to keep you from the temptations of this great whore that seeks to seduce, to flatter, and to bewitch you with her lies about tomorrow.
Even to this day, this today, this present time, it is still as it is written in Deuteronomy 30:19
“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your seed may live”. How hard is it for you to make a choice? Are you afraid to ask of me to give you life today? This day, I have set before you life and death; that is, I have set before you a choice between the wisdom that dwells in the carnal mind or the wisdom that comes from above; the wisdom that gives life to the spiritually minded. I have given a choice unto you this day to see whose counsels you are going to choose to believe and serve. If you choose to believe the counsels of that come forth from the wisdom of this world, then death shall surely follow after you: trouble, uncertainty, worry, bitterness, misery, stress, depression, confusion and unrest. If you choose not to believe that I am willing to freely give unto you my wisdom, then I swear you shall not find any rest because you have put a stop to the river of life that flows from my heart. If you do not ask for my wisdom today, then the wisdom of this world shall quickly take your heart captive to those places where darkness and death reign. If you choose life for this day, then ask for me to give unto you my wisdom; the wisdom that is freely given to those who ask for it. If you delight in me, then I shall give unto you the life that your heart so desires. Those who walk in my wisdom are those who choose to walk in my presence”, says the Lord. “I am life”.
Romans 8:5 (AMP) “For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on and pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit and are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on and seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit. Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever].
Psalm 37:4 “Delight yourself in the Lord and he shall give you the desires of your heart”
Stir yourself up and let not your heart forget that I am the God of today and now, and not the god of tomorrow. My wisdom is as river of living water that flows continually from me in the hearts and the minds of all those who ask for her. Today, my wisdom thinks on those things which are true. Today, my wisdom thinks on those things which are honest. Today, my wisdom thinks on those things which are just. Today, my wisdom thinks on those things which are pure. Today, my wisdom thinks on those things which are lovely. Today, my wisdom thinks on those things which are of a good report. Today, my wisdom thinks only on those which pertain to life. Today, my wisdom is as a river of abundant life that is ready to flow from my heart into your heart; a river that flows anew every day with life. My wisdom does not wait until tomorrow to think on these things.
II Timothy 1:6 “Wherefore I put you in remembrance that you stir up the gift of God…”
Today, the wisdom of this world is ready to worry and stress about tomorrow. Today, the wisdom of this world is ready to fill your thoughts with fearful and terrifying things. Today, the wisdom of this world is ready to bring forth reasons for you to hate and to scorn. Today, the wisdom of this world desires to work sin and iniquity. Today, the wisdom of this world is ready to bring you into confusion. Today, the wisdom of this world is ready to judge, to accuse, to find fault with, and to condemn others. Today, the wisdom of this world is ready to fill the thoughts of your heart with doubts and unbelief. Today, the wisdom of this world is ready to overflow your thoughts with anxiety and impatience, as well as any other thought that brings unrest. Today, the wisdom of the world is ready to entice you to walk in the way that seems right; the way that only ends in death and destruction. Today, the wisdom of this world, being allied with Satan’s lies, is ready to deceive you, to lead you astray, to turn you away from the my presence. Today, the wisdom of this world is ready to alienate you from life. Today, the wisdom of this world is ready to glorify and exalt “self”. Do you not believe that I am sovereign over this earthy, lusty, and devilish wisdom? Have I not asked you to allow for me to show you my judgment of this great whore? Did I not reveal my judgment against this whorish wisdom when I declared through my prophet Isaiah (29:14), “Behold, I will do a marvelous work; a marvelous work and a wonder. I will destroy the wisdom and the wise and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent”. Do you not believe that out of my love for you that I would not destroy for you this wisdom that comes forth only to bring death, separation, and misery upon you? I love you.
Revelation 17:1 “And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, “Come here; I will show unto you the judgment of the great whore that sits upon many waters….18:4-8 “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, “Come out of her my people so that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues; for her sins have reached unto heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she has filled fill to her double. How much she has glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judges her”.
I Corinthians 1:18 “For the message of the cross (daily cross) is foolishness to them who are perishing, but unto us who are being saved, it is the power of God. For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent”.
Matthew 25:1-2 Jesus said, “The kingdom of heaven is like ten virgins which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
It is now about the fifth morning since the Lord gave me this vision, and every morning since then the Lord has allowed for me to ask for his wisdom within just a minute or two after my awakening, crying out, “Lord, desire your life today”; and he came instantly. But this morning when I awoke, I realized that I did not feel like there was any presence of the wisdom of this world trying to take me away, but neither did I feel like there was any presence of the Lord with me either. Even though I did not have any thoughts pressing into me, I still called out on the Lord, asking for his wisdom; and almost immediately I felt the Lord’s presence come upon me as well as affection for the Lord and all things that pertain to the Lord. Glory be to our God for his faithfulness and love.
Then the Lord gave me a vision and I saw in highway that seemed to be weaving itself up a mountain. In the middle of this highway, I saw an old style suitcase that seemed to be at least 30 or 40 years old because it was covered in a real fine burlap. I discerned that this suitcase had been much used because there were a several places on it that seemed to be worn out; worn out similar to how a pair of jeans will wear out in the knees.
I was considering what this suitcase represented when the Lord spoke to me and said, “You have my treasure in earthen vessels”. I knew that the treasure was the Lord’s wisdom and that the earthen vessel was this old suitcase; or rather, this old body of death. Then the Lord said, “Though the world sees that which is old and worn, I see that which is within. I see that by reason of my wisdom within you, you have walked the highway that I have set before you. This highway, though it has many twists and turns to is, represents the strait and narrow path that all who desire life must journey on; it is the one that leads to life. This is the highway that you have journeyed on as you have sought for life; the life that comes to all those who desire to know me. The reason that I have used this old suitcase to represent your earthen vessel is because it shows that by reason of my wisdom within you, you have been willing to journey as you have followed after me. Regardless of where my Spirit has led, you have followed me. Truly, that which a man treasures are those things which his heart highly esteems and values.
Romans 11:33-36 “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and his ways past finding out! For who has known the mind of the Lord?”
II Corinthians 4:6-7 “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ; and we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us”.
I am the life that is the hidden treasure in your heart. My wisdom loves me and delights in doing my will; and I know that you have sought for my wisdom because of your desire to love me and to do my will. I know that you have loved me because you have laid down the treasures that are of this world; the wisdom that only has affections and desires for “self”. I am the wisdom that loves our heavenly Father, and I have no desire within me to go a whoring after the treasures of this world. Out of affection, I am always mindful of those things which please our heavenly Father. Our Father has made me to be wisdom for you so that you also may be made to be partakers of the love that our heavenly Father has for you”.
Again, I have made you free so that you are now free to make your own choice: either choose this day to be the Beauty or choose to be the Beast.
